What is the difference between Outback and Playhouse?

Outback:
Kids are wild about the wide open fun of the ANGLED-BASE Outback swing sets. With the most room "down under" the deck, Outback is a natural choice for the energetic play kids love to uncork. Add a Tire Swing, Rock Wall and Chain Ladder for even more action.

Playhouse:
The Playhouse playsets are a SQUARE-BASED foundation for boundless imagination. Play-enhancing accessories fit perfectly beneath the classic Playhouse base. These include a built-in sandbox, or a full-size convertible picnic table which doubles as a sandbox cover. The Playhouse stays in your yard, but the creativity it inspires takes children as far as their dreams can carry them.

What does 5' , 6' , or 7' mean?

It's how we measure fun! Woodplay gives you 3 deck height choices... 5', 6', and 7'. Always keep in mind the higher the deck the longer the slide and the higher the swings. In time, you want your kids to grow INTO a set and not OUT of it.

What is the difference between Regular and XL?

Great times come in 2 deck sizes. The size of a Regular deck is 5' x 5' . The XL measures 5' x 7'.

What is a "Combo"?

Woodplay makes it easy for you to find and design the playset just for you. In either type base you are looking at for a playset (Angled or Square), a Combo is one of 5 basic combinations of swing set components. Pick a Combo to get you in the ballpark of where you want to go. Change it up by selecting the deck height and size. Totally make it your own by adding options, including add-ons, slides, swings, and accessories. If you can dream it, Woodplay can do it.

How involved is the maintenance?

Cedar makes our playsets the most naturally durable and beautiful swing sets available. Because all outdoor wood products require protection, Woodplay applies a specially formulated penetrating, non-toxic water based stain sealant in our factory to enhance and protect your swing set investment.  After a year, we recommend you apply a non-toxic oil based stain sealant after a good power wash.  Use a semi-transparent or transparent stain such as Superdeck Semi-transparent Redwood Stain. We provide this service at a cost between $600-$1000 depending on the set.

To clean plastic and vinyl swing set components, simply use warm, soapy water.

We do recommend periodic inspections and tightening of your playset. We provide that service for you!

Why is a Springfree Trampoline safer than other trampoline models?

We've eliminated 90% of product related trampoline injuries with our unique design.  Some of the features that make Springfree the world’s safest are:

Mat rods- Springfree uses flexible rods to give a smooth, non-jarring bounce. The rods lie beneath the jumping surface out of harm’s way.

The SoftEdge - Springfree has a soft edge, which is over 30 times more shock absorbent than the thin safety pads on a traditional trampoline.

Hidden frame- Springfree Trampoline’s frame is well beneath the jumping surface so you can’t hit it.

The FlexiNet safety enclosure- the patented Springfree Trampoline FlexiNet enclosure has flexible supports to cushion jumpers and prevent falls. The net is also zippered to ensure jumpers cannot fall through the opening.

How does a Springfree Trampoline work?

Springfree is a SoftEdge trampoline that uses strong, flexible composite rods in place of springs with a Flexinet enclosure that keeps the jumper from falling off the trampoline.

Is a Springfree Trampoline as bouncy as a traditional trampoline?

Springfree Trampoline provides a bounce similar to a traditional, spring-based trampoline in terms of how high you can jump.

However, the feel of the bounce differs as Springfree Trampoline has a smooth, non-jarring bounce. The smoother bounce of a Springfree Trampoline is much gentler on knees and joints for the jumpers.

How soft is the edge of a Springfree Trampoline?

Springfree Trampoline’s SoftEdge™ is 30 times more shock absorbent then pads found on traditional trampolines.

How involved is the maintenance?

The Springfree Trampoline does not have safety pads around the edge because it doesn't need them. The SoftEdge itself has much more give in it than normal safety pads. In fact, the Springfree Trampoline edge is equivalent to the 70mm thick padding used on Olympic standard trampolines.

Traditional trampolines require safety pads that protect the jumper from falling on the steel frame, falling through or getting caught in the springs. However, safety tests show that these pads do not absorb enough impact to sufficiently protect jumpers from contact with the springs and frame. Springfree Trampoline’s design has completely removed the springs and steel frame at jumping level, so there is no need for safety pads.

Other trampolines have enclosures - what is different about the Springfree Trampoline enclosure?

Springfree Trampoline’s FlexiNet™ enclosure is strong and fully flexible. It will cushion wayward jumpers and gently redirect them back to the center of the trampoline. Traditional trampolines may also have enclosures but they aren't flexible and are held up with steel poles which introduce another impact risk. Basic enclosures only stop jumpers falling off and jumpers end up landing on the springs and frame.

How much weight can a Springfree Trampoline take?

All Springfree Trampolines have an 1100 lb. surface weight limit - lots of kids.
The Maximum single jumper weight is 275 lb.

Is the Springfree Trampoline weather-resistant?

All components of the Springfree Trampoline are weather-resistant, including UV stabilized mat and net rods, a galvanized and powder-coated steel frame and a UV stabilized polypropylene mat and safety enclosure.  Your Springfree Trampoline can be used all year and does not need to be covered or packed away even during the harshest summers or the coldest winters.  Jump in your snow boots! Its ok!

WHAT IS THE REGULATION HEIGHT OF A BASKETBALL RIM?

For high school, college, and professional basketball, the regulation height is 10 feet to the topside of the basketball rim.

WHAT IS THE OVERHANG ON A GOALRILLA BASKETBALL SYSTEM?

It varies according to the model and the height setting you select. In general, the overhang is:

4 ft. (DC72E1, CV72, & GSI)
3 ft. (GS72c, CV60, GSII, CV54, & GSIII)
2.5 ft. (GS60c & GS54c)

HOW MUCH ABUSE CAN A GOALRILLA SYSTEM TAKE?

Goalrilla is The Toughest Basketball System on the Planet™ and carries a limited lifetime warranty. However, it is not guaranteed against abuse or misuse, such as hanging on the rim, net, or backboard. Be sure to understand the guidelines for proper use and keep your warranty in effect

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY GOALRILLA?

There are only three things to keep in mind with regard to maintenance:

The backboard: to clean the backboard, rinse the board with lukewarm water, wash gently with a 100% cotton soft cloth and a glass cleaner. Rinse again with lukewarm water and dry with a 100% cotton soft cloth.
The pole base: Keep organic materials away from pole base. As with all metals, grass and grass clippings, organic garbage and litter can cause corrosion if the metal finish is penetrated.
Rust: If rust should appear on the pole, remove loose paint, sand lightly, prime, and paint with exterior enamel paint. If rust has penetrated through the steel anywhere, replace the pole immediately.

CAN I TAKE IT WITH ME?

Yes. The rugged concrete and rebar Goalrilla Anchor System has a leveling feature that bolts the Goalrilla to the ground. As a result, a Goalrilla pole, backboard and goal can be completely removed and taken with you when you move, if you wish. A trained Goalrilla installer should be involved in the removal of your system

WHAT IS THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT RANGE, AND HOW DO I KNOW THE HEIGHT?

All Goalrilla systems are adjustable from 7.5 to 10 feet, allowing the system to be enjoyed players of virtually all ages. The all-steel height-adjusting actuator includes a scale that shows the height that is achieved by turning the handle.
