At Playground World Toledo, our relationship with you doesn’t end when your new playset, trampoline, or basketball hoop is installed. We stand behind the products we sell and are here to help if something doesn’t perform the way it should.

Many of our products are backed by manufacturer warranties designed to protect your investment for years to come. If you believe you have a warranty issue, our local team can help you figure out the next step.

Woodplay Playsets

5 Year Warranty

Subject to proper installation and normal residential use, Woodplay warrants, subject to thelimitations stated below, to the original retail purchaser, all chain, seats, swing hangers, hardware,metal braces, ropes and accessories to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from date of purchase. Cracks in non-functional plastic components are not considered defects in materials and workmanship if they do not affect the functionality of the playset. Merchandise covered under this limited five-year warranty will, at our option, be repaired or replaced, excluding any freight or labor fees.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

In addition, for the lifetime of your playset, Woodplay warrants, to the original retail purchaser, all wooden components against structural failure due to corrosion, wood rot, or insect infestation. Seasonal checks, surface cracks, knotholes and knots, natural characteristics of all wooden play equipment, not resulting in structural failure, are not covered under this warranty, and will not affect the integrity of your playset. Woodplay warrants to the original retail customer that we will replace any swing hangers, swing chains, metal braces, metal rungs or hardware that fail due to breakage (excludes surface rust.) This limited lifetime warranty also applies to our exclusive Super Slide, Hurricane Slide and Alpine Slide.

Timber is a natural material which can absorb and release moisture. Although this product is designed to minimize this effect, in certain circumstances some movement or distortion is unavoidable. During dry hot weather timber may shrink and check – this is a normal process of weathering. After the first year of service it is advisable to clean and apply a non-toxic stain or sealant to the wood, safe for children’s use.

Components covered under this 5 year and limited lifetime warranty will be replaced free of charge, excluding freight and labor fees.

Non-residential use of the playset is prohibited and voids the warranty as the playsets are designed for residential use only.

Woodplay reserves the right to examine photographs and/or physical evidence of merchandise claimed to be defective, and to recover said merchandise, prior to disposition of warranty claims. Merchandise returned to our factory for examination or recovery must be shipped freight prepaid, unless a Return Authorization Number is issued. This warranty program does not cover normal wear and tear, color fading, or damages resulting from misuse, abuse, vandalism, alteration, acts of God, or assembly and maintenance contrary to our instructions. Woodplay assumes no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages which may arrive from the purchase or use of our equipment. Please supervise your children’s play activity and maintain your play equipment periodically.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use. Woodplay does not assume or authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products.

Maintenance & Care

Woodplay reserves the right to make changes in materials, design, and pricing without notice. Your child’s safety is your responsibility; therefore, you should inspect this equipment regularly for wear and safety. Maintaining your playset properly will ensure that your playset is safe and beautiful for the life of the set. Proper guidelines regarding annual tightening and periodic staining can be found in your owner’s manual. Be sure to check with your local dealer, most offer maintenance packages for a fee. Playsets that have been altered or show signs of blatant neglect may not be eligible for this warranty.

Springfree trampolines

Customers who register their trampoline within one (1) year from the date of purchase automatically receive an extended warranty at no additional cost. Complete warranty and extended warranty details are below. In addition to extending your warranty, when you register your Springfree® Trampoline you can also sign up to receive important news, product updates and promotions. Registered customers are given a profile that allows for easier technical support and also allows us to contact you with important product notifications.

In order to complete your registration, you will need to provide your name, address, trampoline model name, serial number, date and place of purchase and a scan of your purchase receipt. We recommend that you keep your purchase receipt in a safe place to ensure you have this information.

Limited 10  Year Warranty

Springfree Trampoline is not responsible or liable for indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product or any other damages with respect to any economic loss, loss of property, loss of revenue or prof its, loss of enjoyment or use, cost of removal, installation, disassembly or other consequential damages. This limitation is not allowed by some states, provinces or territories and so this limitation may not apply to you. Springfree Trampoline will not be liable for any consequential damages or incidental damages you may incur in connection with your purchase and use of your trampoline. This limitation is not allowed by some states, provinces, or territories and so this limitation may not apply to you. Any implied warranties relating to your trampoline, including but not limited to warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty. This limitation is not allowed by some states, provinces or territories and so this limitation may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state, province or territory.

If you need replacement parts but your warranty has expired, you can purchase them by contacting your nearest Springfree Trampoline customer service center.

For customers in Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. This limited warranty is not transferable and applies only to the consumer who originally purchased the trampoline. This warranty does not cover Springfree Trampoline accessories.

WHAT IS COVERED

Springfree Trampoline and its authorized service partners warrant your Springfree Trampoline against original defects in material and workmanship. All components of the trampoline are warranted for ten (10) years from the date of purchase (proof of purchase required). This warranty is only valid when used for private household purposes in accordance with the Springfree Trampoline Owner’s Manual. This warranty provides, at no extra cost to you, all parts necessary to ensure your trampoline is in proper working condition throughout the 10 year warranty period. You are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. (labor not included).

What is not covered

This limited warranty is subject to the following terms:

  • For customers whose trampoline is subjected to sea spray or who reside within 1 mile (1.6 km) or less of a salt water environment, the warranty on the steel frame shall be reduced by 25%. Springfree Trampoline shall not be liable for costs, damages or repairs incurred as a result of:
  • Trampolines purchased from an unauthorized dealer. Improper installation not in accordance with the User Guide and Trampoline & Enclosure Assembly Instructions
  • Careless operation or handling, misuse, abuse and/or lack of maintenance or use not in accordance with the User Guide and Trampoline & Enclosure Assembly Instructions.
  • External sources such as weather, theft, f ire damage, cuts or vandalism.
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by unauthorized parties or agents. Use of the trampoline other than for private household purposes. For example, for commercial or rental purposes.
  • This limited warranty does not cover misuse or minor imperfections in trampolines that meet design specifications or do not materially alter functionality. This limited warranty does not cover expenses related to on-site labor, travel, assembly or disassembly or other charges associated with the repair or replacement of covered components. Shipping costs associated with approved warranty claims lodged within 45 days from the date of purchase will be covered by Springfree Trampoline. Beyond this 45 day period, all shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

If you believe your Springfree Trampoline has a manufacturing fault or a product defect and you need to make a warranty claim, locate and contact your nearest Springfree Trampoline customer service center at www.springfree.com or lodge your claim online. The terms of the limited warranty require that you contact Springfree Trampoline with your model name, serial number, date and place of purchase and a scan of your purchase receipt. Replacement parts provided under this warranty do not extend the period of the warranty.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY:

Subject to proper installation and normal, intended use, and subject to the limitations set forth below, Goalsetter Systems, Inc. warrants to the original retail purchaser that all structural components of Goalsetter Systems™ Signature Series*, Extreme Series** and GS Wall-Mount Series*** basketball systems are free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration of ownership by such original retail purchaser or five (5) years after discontinuation of the product by Goalsetter Systems, Inc.

Signature Series – MVP, Captain, All-American, All-Star, Contender, Champion;

Extreme Series – X672, X660, X560, X554, X454, X448;

GS Wall-Mount Series – GS72 Wall-Mount, GS60 Wall-Mount, GS54 Wall-Mount, GS48 Wall-Mount

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Subject to proper installation and normal, intended use, and subject to the limitations set forth below, Goalsetter Systems, Inc. warrants to the original retail purchaser that all structural components of Goalsetter Systems™ Tournament Series Elite Plus and GS Baseline Wall Mount Series* basketball systems are free of defects in material and workmanship for a time period of five (5) years from date of purchase (b) Goalsetter Systems™ Junior MVP and GS Junior Wall Mount basketball systems are covered for a time period of two (2) years from date of purchase. GS Baseline Wall-Mount Series – GS72 Baseline, GS60 Baseline, GS54 Baseline

Any warranty on a basketball system excludes the rim. Rim warranties are as follows: Rims shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase as follows: R10126 Single Ring Static Rim: one (1) year limited warranty; R10226 Double Ring Static Rim: unconditional lifetime warranty; R10326 Heavy Duty Breakaway Rim: two (2) year limited warranty; R10554 GS Collegiate Breakaway Rim: one (1) year limited warranty.

Padding Warranty: Padding shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase as follows: Multi-Purpose Backboard Edge Padding: one-year limited warranty; Custom Fitted Pole Padding: one-year limited warranty; Wrap Around Pole Padding: one-year limited warranty.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty and the Limited Warranty shall cover damage or failure that occurs during the course of NORMAL or INTENDED USE of the product. Normal or intended use shall be described as activity that is necessary for the participation in the sport for which the equipment is designed. NOT COVERED is damage caused by deliberate hanging, multiple player hanging, vandalism, nonbasketball activities or any other activity that could be regarded as abusive. Goalsetter Systems™ Junior MVP and GS Junior Wall Mount warranty voided if damage caused by the act of dunking.

A limited lifetime warranty is effective for the duration of ownership by the original retail purchaser or 5 years after discontinuation of the product by Goalsetter Systems, Inc.

Goalsetter Systems, Inc. shall have the right to require the purchaser to deliver at its expense the allegedly defective product to Goalsetter for testing, repair or replacement. Goalsetter shall not be responsible for any expenses associated with the replacement or removal of the product from its application for such delivery.

THE WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY ACCIDENT, USE FOR. PURPOSES FOR WHICH IT IS NOT INTENDED, AS THE RESULT OF IMPROPER INSTALLATION, FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTALLATION, CARE OR MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT, USE OF PARTS NOT PROVIDED BY GOALSETTER SYSTEMS OR ANY MODIFICATION OF ANY PRODUCT BY THE CUSTOMER UNLESS APPROVED BY GOALSETTER SYSTEMS, INC., OR OTHER CAUSES NOT ARISING OUT OF DEFECTS IN MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP,

The sole obligation of Goalsetter Systems, Inc., and the exclusive remedy under the applicable warranty, is repair or replacement of any component part determined by Goalsetter Systems, Inc. to be defective and covered by the warranty. Goalsetter Systems, Inc. will not be liable for any other damages or expenses. The applicable warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Goalsetter Systems, Inc. does not assume, and no other person or representative is authorized to assume for Goalsetter Systems, Inc. any other liability in connection with the sale of Goalsetter System™ products.

Not Covered by Warranty

  • Use in non-residential applications of Glass backboards on Signature Series systems.
  • Use in non-residential applications of Extreme Series and Tournament Series complete systems.
  • Any products subjected to abuse, negligence, improper installation, vandalism, acts of God, alteration of product and any other events beyond the control of Goalsetter Systems, Inc.
  • Junior Series breakage caused by the act of dunking.
  • Paint or rusted parts. Touch-up paint is included in all hardware kits.
  • Deterioration of product due to time or wear and tear.
  • Normal deterioration of products due to atmospheric conditions, weather, wear and tear (including scratching or scuffing paint from normal use), or other causes that do not affect functional use are not covered by Goalsetter Systems, Inc. warranties. All warranties are valid only when product is used in the intended application & when installed according to Goalsetter Systems instructions. Warranty may be void if maintenance instructions in the Owner’s Manual are not followed. If you did not receive an Owners Manual, please call 1-800-362-4625 and one will be mailed to you.

DISCLAIMERS: THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL GOALSETTER SYSTEMS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.

THE PRODUCT IS INTENDED TO BE USED TO PLAY THE SPORT OF BASKETBALL. ALL SPORTS INVOLVE RISK OF INJURY. THE USER ASSUMES ALL RISK OF INJURY RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD ON THIS CONDITION AND NO REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY MAY WAIVE OR CHANGE THIS POLICY.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

LEGAL REMEDIES:

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

WARRANTY CLAIMS:

All returns must be arranged through the Goalsetter Systems, Inc. dealer where the product was originally purchased. Warranties do not cover dealer service charges, labor charges, freight charges, and travel expenses associated with replacement, repair or removal of warranty items. Photos of the damaged product prior to any repair or clean-up actions must clearly show and permit analysis of the damaged product by Goalsetter Systems, Inc. A Goalsetter® Warranty Claim form must be completed, and photos submitted, together with proof of purchase, for any item you wish to claim under warranty. If the purchase was not made through a dealer, this form is available by email, fax or mail. In response to your claim, you will receive an order confirmation as well as a notice stating whether Goalsetter Systems, Inc. needs your warranty item returned. Goalsetter Systems, Inc. will notify you by fax or phone if we determine that the item cannot be claimed under warranty. Goalsetter Systems, Inc. is not responsible for any charges for labor to install or repair defective product without prior authorization. Goalsetter Systems, Inc. will determine the most economical method to either repair or replace product before any work is to commence.

Goalrilla Basketball Hoops

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY:

Subject to proper installation and normal use, Escalade Sports warrants, subject to the limitations below, to the original retail purchaser all structural components of the Goalrilla System to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration of ownership by the original retail purchaser. Merchandise must be shipped prepaid with a copy of proof of purchase to our facility in Evansville, Indiana for examination to see whether it needs to be repaired or replaced. Any labor costs, travel expenses and any other changes involved in the removal, installation or replacement of the defective/repaired parts from/to your Goalrilla System will be your (the purchaser’s) responsibility. Shipping charges for replaced or warranted merchandise being sent back to the customer from our factory must be prepaid by the customer in advance. If not, the replacement shipment will be sent out collect. Escalade Sports reserves the right to examine photographs or physical evidence of merchandise claimed to be defective,and to recover said merchandise, prior to authorization of warranty claims. A Returned Goods Authorization number may be required, please call for details prior to the return of any photographs or merchandise. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use. Escalade Sports does not assume or authorize any person or representative to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sale of our products. The remedy of repair or replacement stated above is our exclusive remedy. Escalade Sports will not be liable for any other damages or expenses which may incur, including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages. Escalade Sports assumes no other obligations or liability on the part of the purchaser, and Escalade Sports neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection with the goods sold. What is Not Covered by This Warranty Any merchandise subjected to abuse, negligence, improper installation, vandalism, acts of God, alteration of product, or any other events beyond the control of Escalade Sports. Paint or rusted parts. Paint kits will be available to assist in normal maintenance. Hanging on the rim will void your warranty: Rims are not warranted for any defects other than workmanship. Torn back plates, damaged springs, bent rings, damaged eyebolts, and torn or distorted rim supports result from hanging on the rim and are not warranted. Shipping charges both ways. Note: Any merchandise shipped to Escalade Sports collect will be refused. Store service charges, labor charges and travel expenses associated with replacement of repair of warranty item.
